A lot of people have been asking me why the tower looks like this - like a white outline of itself. You'll never see this look in person! Those are the lights that normally sparkle all over the tower at the top of every hour. But, to take photos like this, the shutter has to be open for a few seconds to capture all the light during that time. In the final picture, it looks like all these lights were on at once, instead of flickering manically like in real life.

Great pictures! It reminds me of Place de la Bastille, the square is now an official historical monument of France.
